  • Add unedited raw footage delivered on an external hard drive for you to keep to any collection that includes a wedding film (not available separately). This option is great for couples who want to archive unedited footage of their wedding or to leave the door open to create different edits of their wedding footage at a later date.

Note: The raw footage add-on is not meant to be a replacement for a “documentary cut” of the wedding day. “Unedited” means that the footage is delivered as individual clips on an external hard drive with no editing applied (no adjustments to exposure, stabilization, color-grading, audio levels, etc.). Unlike documentary cuts, we typically don’t shoot long continuous clips of longer elements of wedding ceremonies that won’t end up in a highlight-style wedding film (which is why the documentary cut always requires an additional filmmaker). In order to receive an edited copy of your wedding day with long continuous clips of the ceremony and reception, please see the “Documentary Cut” add-on below. The free Sony Catalyst Browse software is required to be downloaded on PC or Mac to see footage with correct color settings, or to permanently convert files to have correct color settings.

    Avg. Price: 550

  • Add a documentary cut of your wedding day as an additional version of your wedding film, filmed by an additional filmmaker (not available separately or without an additional filmmaker). This option is great for couples who want to see almost all of the important main events that happened on their wedding day - we find that due to their longer length, documentary cuts are watched most often by the couple, family members, and close friends. It’s also excellent for special people in your lives who weren’t able to attend.

Note: Please see the note above under “Raw Footage” to learn more about how the documentary cut differs from Raw Footage.

    Avg. Price 1000

  • Stunning 4K drone footage added to your wedding film (perfect for establishing shots at the beginning of the film!). We and our gear are both certified by the FAA. Logistical considerations apply.

    Avg. Price: 500

  • Add additional coverage hours for each videographer (pricing expressed in a per-videographer per-hour basis).

Avg. Price 150 Per Videographer Per Hour

  • Traveling based on a starting point of Holden, MA on Google Maps (whatever the default route is). Keep in mind that for some locations it would be easier and cheaper for us to fly - the price listed below is for driving. Also, if we travel beyond 4 hours from Holden, MA, we would likely need to book a hotel near the venue, which would be an additional cost.

Avg. Price 65.5 Cents Per Mile (for every mile beyond 50)

  • Don’t want to wait up to 90 days to receive your wedding film? No problem. With this add-on, receive the digital versions of your final wedding film faster than our standard turn around time. Timing applies to wedding films, documentary cut add-ons, and social media teasers.

Avg. Price (10 day turn around): 700

Avg. Price (48 hour turn around): 1700

+15% to these prices for weddings taking place August - October

  • Add an M-Disc Blu-Ray backup of your wedding film rated by the Department of Defense to last up to 1000 years.

    Avg. Price 150 Per Disc

  • Sky is the limit on your wedding film! Multiple days, multiple locations, livestreaming, as many film makers and cameras as you can imagine, cinema-level gear, and yes, even a super hero themed wedding trailer if you want (we really had a couple consider this with us once). Anything you can imagine, we can put together.

  • A: Our style is definitely more cinematic and driven by capturing the emotion of the day, rather than just capturing information. You'll probably notice a fair amount of slow motion and background blur (also known as "bokeh"). We find that a stylistic representation of the story of the day tends to more accurately evoke the emotion of the day in the couple more than documentary-style films. This combined with the shorter length means more rewatches from both the clients and others they might share it with, which ultimately means much more value in both the short run and the long run. Don't get us wrong - long documentary-style cuts aren't bad. It's just that at a certain point, in most instances, film makers can't shoot video that fulfills the requirements of both a cinematic and a documentary film to the high levels of quality we like to deliver. If you're still interested in a documentary-style cut, we can add "raw footage" into your collection, which will make sure you get every single shot we took on the day. We can even do a documentary cut add-on with this footage if you would like, but our focus is first on the cinematic/highlight-style film.

  • A: Most of our film makers are male, and we typically wear dress slacks, a button up, and a vest of some sort. For weddings outdoors in the summer, we would wear dress slacks, a short sleeve button up shirt, and a fedora (since we are carrying heavy equipment all day, we wear this in order to stay cool and keep the sun out of our eyes). If the weather is predicted to be above 80 degrees or below 55 degrees and there are any outdoor portions of the wedding day, we will simply dress in such a way that allows us to get the job done at the highest quality levels possible while giving a nod to the fact that most weddings are formal events. Occasionally we wear headsets to communicate at weddings with more than one film maker, and a camera "chest rig" in order to provide additional stability to shots, which is basically a load-bearing vest with some straps in the front to distribute the weight of the camera. Typically none of the gear is visually distracting and at times it can even bring a positive/helpful professional vibe. With that said, we can dress as formal or informal as you would like, and if you don't want us to use chest rigs, headsets, or any other type of equipment, just let us know ahead of time and we'll figure something else out - it's your day!

  • A: All of our collections include a particular number of coverage hours available, though we only stay as long as we need to in order to capture enough footage to make your wedding film. Don’t worry - we make sure to discuss the particulars of the day ahead of time so we don't miss anything important. For some couples, this can mean we are there for 4 hours, and for other couples it can mean up to 16, but the average tends to hover around 8 hours. Typically we leave 20-30 minutes after dancing is the only major event left during the reception. If you need it, we can even do multi-day weddings and destination weddings.

  • A: With one of our livestreaming packages, you'll get a high quality livestream of your wedding that can be sent to Zoom (our favorite for the ability for the couple to speak with their online guests directly after the ceremony), YouTube, Facebook, or any other streaming service of your choice that you have access to. We provide Zoom, YouTube, or Facebook accounts if you don't have them or you can provide your own on those services or others. The livestream is dependent on the internet speed and stability at the venue, so you may want to reach out and ask your venue how their wifi is on-location. We use professional grade streaming gear hooked up to the same cameras we use to shoot our wedding films in order to provide the livestream, and our livestream tech can switch between the cameras at-will while on site, so the experience for viewers is excellent. If we can use the audio from the venue or the DJ (whoever is running audio for the ceremony) we typically try to do that, but we can also mic up to 6 people with wireless lavalier microphones for very high quality sound if there is no on-site mixer/sound-reinforcement. We typically recommend livestreams are provided in 1080p, but we can also do a 4k stream to YouTube for an additional fee. If 5G is available through Verizon at your venue, we can use a hotspot as an additional backup in case the venue internet goes down. Finally, we don't guarantee our livestreams because of their inherent unpredictability, but we do take steps to greatly limit the risks of problems, and in our 3 years of running livestreams, we've never had a livestream go down at a wedding.

  • A: We don't. Unfortunately, even if we were large enough of a company to provide a super generous policy of that type, there are far too many variables involved in the creation of a wedding film or a livestream in order to fairly match a price (artistic vision, specific gear, years of experience of each team member involved, other business expenses, etc.). Our pricing is based upon the value that we provide for our clients, which we stand behind.

  • A: No, there aren't any seasons or months of the year that we increase our prices due to demand (with exception of expedited delivery - see add-on above for details). One time-based pricing change would occur if you signed your contract/booked your wedding with less than 2 weeks to go - a 10% fee will apply. Some summers and Octobers book up quickly, and signing a contract and paying the 1/2 retainer fee is the only way to guarantee that another couple won't book on your date. Due to privacy and ethical considerations, we aren't able to discuss if anyone else is interested in booking on your date. The only other time where we would charge an additional fee based on your date would be if your date was on a holiday like Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Easter, The 4th of July, etc.

  • A: Typically we require a 1/2 retainer payment at the time of signing a contract, which secures your date with us. If 1/2 is too much of a stretch, occasionally we are willing to move down to a 1/3 retainer payment based on financial need (keep in mind that the final 2/3 would still be due 2 weeks before the date of the wedding). In terms of discounts, one way to bring the price down would be to refer other clients to use Lighthouse for their own wedding films and livestreams. We pay a 10% bounty to anyone who refers a couple that ultimately signs a contract with us.

  • A: 90 days is our standard turn around time. The Memory Package offers a Priority 45 day turn-around time. Add-ons are available for both a 10 day turn-around and a 48 hour turn around (see pricing above).
